Been so busy today I almost forgot it was Thursday. My column today on Petsense.com introduces one of “my” babies; any foal born on my farm I consider mine. This filly, Bam Bam, turned out to be one of my master teachers that I promised to share about. Please enjoy her picture and “Our Teachers Are Everywhere.” http://petsense.blogspot.com/

Confused?
January 29th, 2010Sorry about the confusion. Last week’s Petsense article was, A Tough Week. I forgot I’d changed the title after the first draft. Either would have worked, but I always defer to my muse….
Much Appreciated Feedback

Good-Bye to 2009!
December 31st, 20092009 went out like a lion. Since the weekend before Christmas, my beautiful NC mountains have been battered by a blizzard and a horrible ice storm, which came within 4 days of each other. Thanks to my handy, dandy generator, which readers of Letting Go know all about, Hana, Saba and I stayed warm and safe. I had no damage from the horrible winds that followed, so I’d like the thank my angels for looking out for us. My boys are using their smarts to manuver safely around their yard, which has now become a glacier.
Despite arctic temps that are arriving over the weekend and staying for 10 days, I know I’ll be well cared for by my dear Labs. Yesterday, I finally got to see Stormy, who was obviously happy to see me and not just the apples I brought him.
I want to thank everyone who has made 2009 a better year than 2008 for me. As I move further away from the challenges that occurred when I left my beautiful farm in NJ, I’m able to look forward with optimism to what lies ahead. I am blessed to be able to work with wonderful animals and people, and I’m blessed to know I’ve helped many by publishing my book.
Please enjoy my Thursday column, More Lessons in Surrender, on Petsense.com. http://petsense.blogspot.com/
My wish is for a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous 2010 for everyone!!!
